Dr. Knutson began using LDA in 2011 after she was introduced to the LDA lectures and manuals of Dr. W.A. “Butch” Shrader. The advanced immunotherapy is called LDA (Low Dose Allergy) immunotherapy, short for ultra low dose enzyme enhanced immunotherapy. It was developed from EPD Immunotherapy (Enzyme Potentiated Desensitization). EPD immunotherapy was discovered and developed by British allergist, Dr. Leonard McEwen. It is a type of immunotherapy enhanced by the enzyme beta glucuronidase, given only every two months at first and less often as time progresses. LDA immunotherapy treats many health conditions that related to failure of the immune response.
LDA immunotherapy can be used to treat many health conditions including: inhalant allergies, food allergies, anaphylaxis, eczema, autoimmune conditions (Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scleroderma, Systemic Lupis SLE, Anakylosing Spondylitis, Reactive Arthritis, Degenerative Arthritis, Ulcerative Arthritis, Crohn’s Disease, Psoriasis, Eosinophylic Esophagitis, Lymphocytic Colitis, etc.), Irritable Bowel Syndrome IBS, Lyme Disease, and food sensitivities. In addition to LDA, I also use acupuncture, homeopathy, IV nutrients, herbs/supplements, OTC and prescriptions medications to treat allergies.
